First, Congrats to the Royals on their win against the Lions!!!!:thumb:I do have to say this, the refs were NOT on their game tonight, MERCY!!!! I have to say a few words about one player that I don't think gets enough mention, Michael Turner, he was trying to steal the ball every chance he could (and did a couple times, I believe). He is a real scrapper!!!! Our players for sure took a beating under the basket tonight against Boyd Co.!!!! Does anyone have stats from the game???

Not sure I agree with this comment. Was a lot of over the backs and grabbing from Both teams. I will however agree with you that the Refs were not on their game, but dont believe it was called towards either team better than the other.

I agree with you about the Turner kid. He's a scrappy little ballplayer. I really like the way he plays.

I must say that one of Boyd County's players has a bright future ahead of him if he decides to pursue his acting career. He sure fooled the officials on his flops tonight. :D:D

Here's a shot of Kennedy (I believe) with a block.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the one the called a foul on him.

Good win for the Royals. I thought they played best when Terry, Kennedy, and Gregg were on the floor together. I know Gregg had another double, double and Terry had at least six or seven blocked shots.

LOL. I know who you're talking about because we were commenting on those calls too. But he did a good job convincing the officials by grunting and falling backwards. Did it twice in a row sucessfully. But I thought the officials did a good job this game. Didn't hardly notice them and that's how I like it. There were a few over the backs both ways but they called it the same for everyone. That's all you can ask.

I will agree with that. A few of those were pretty silly.

This as well was a very bad call. They made up for it on the next play though. Did you get a picture of it?

Boyd simply allowed this to happen way too much. Gregg scoring on the inside.

The Royals are a young team and are starting to play together. They have won 7 of their last 8.

Which play was it? The jump ball call?
