Very physical game. Christian Brewer started for Robbert Hatton who will be out at least 2 weeks with a high ankle sprain. Christian did a great job. Very good win by the Cards. Scott has a very nice ball club and will only improve over the season.

These two teams always play well against each other with this being the biggest margin of victory by GRC over Scott. Their previous 2 meetings before today were in the 2006 & 2007 10th region tournament with GRC winning by 2 & 1.

I thought it would be a closer game with Robert Hatton not playing. But our bench played very well today.

Good win for Coach H and crew. GRC is a first class program and will be a very tough team by the time March rolls around. Scott is very solid as well. Does anyone have stats for this game?

Thanks Bubba, appreciate the kind words about our kids and coaching staff. On the stats I may not have them till tomorrow....but will post when I get them.

GRC is lucky to have Coach H and Coach Graham. Those two guys walk the walk and make sure the kids play the game the correct way. Win or lose, the Cards will represent themselves well on the court. No excuses, no whinning and no finger pointing. I have always respected programs who take this approach.

It was a very good game. Very physical as well. Scott was down by about 4 or 6 with a little over a mintue left. That is when they stared fouling. GRC converted on their free throws at the end, and Scott could not answer when they had the ball. Good game by both teams!

Sounds like Zollo is adjusting to his new system and starting to show his potential. If he and Rogers can own the paint, the Cards will be hard to defend all the way around. Best thing for GRC is their youth. They are competitive with most top ranked teams already and have lots of room to improve. I look for them to be around the top for the next three years. Just make sure to take advantage of the opportunities you have at the present. Three years passes quickly, especially at my age.

Mine too....:lol: So pround of Vinny tonight. Changing schools and even states is hard on a 16 year old.
