Has Franklin Co. beat a Trinity or a Hazard? I'm really asking because I don't know. I know they beat Mason in the final seconds but that's all I've heard and they aren't what they usually are.

Tied Trinity in 2 OT scrimmage preseason w/o 2 of their top six. Trinity was full strength as far as I know. It was only preseason, so that doesn't mean anything. FC basically let them back in the scrimmage.

Guessing Elliott County will move up substantially after some of the Holiday results, especially with them going south and going 3-1 vs. the best in the land (and Canada)!!

a. I wonder if that will end up posted in Mason's locker room?

 

b. Maybe it is only my opinion, but basketball is a team game. Rankings other than pre-season should reflect what has happened on the court period...with or without players etc. If they reflect anything other than that then they smack of being a popularity contest and not credible.

 

c. It is curious to me that some teams start up high and have to lose their way out of the rankings, others have to earn it. And often times, even when they do, there is an explanation or excuse as to why they beat a supposedly good team to invalidate it.
