Mighty? Not in my lifetime. When I think mighty I think Mason Co., Scott Co., Lexington Catholic, Ballard, Male, Clark Co., and programs like that, not Ashland.

 

How in this lifetime or any other for that matter, could anyone even think about questioning the great tradition of the Ashland basketball program. It's one of the top two or three in the state. It pales all those teams you have mentioned above. They are all great programs but they don't compare to the Tomcats in overall success. I am not an Ashland fan BTW.

Congrats to Coach Cooksey and his Eagles, looks like maybe they deserve that #2 ranking in the 16th region.

Unless your as old as the actual Matlock the same is true in your lifetime.
