Pandas got off to a quick start. Moss returned to action for Ryle.

I heard that Ryle lost one of their best players for the year but I can't remember her name. Freshman, I believe.

Ryle lost a lot. Three of their best players are out for the season. Two for medical reasons. One decided not to play. Crittendon (Freshman) out until January - if she's back by then - with a broken arm. Moss stepped on the floor for the first time last night. It will take a while to work off some of the rust.

Crittendon and Moss are what make Ryle competitive. They don't have much without those two.

At this point in the season.... Notre Dame is very good. They beat Ryle in every aspect of the game. Very well coached team.

Is that the same arm that Crittenden broke 2 yrs ago (left wrist)?

Can Ryle put it all together to compete in the post season? I thought they would be better based on summer play.

Ryle is 7-1 to date. Team was won without 3 of their starters most of the season. I would say they have done an outstanding job of winning as a team

with their depth especially as young as they are. Looks like the coach is playing 10- 12 players a night gaining great experience and still winning. How many programs could lose their top 3 scorers and rebounders and still win?

This speaks for the depth of this team. I would say they will be very

strong once they are at full strength in the post season.

It is true that Ryle is 7-1 at this point in the season. However, you can't simply look at their record and say they are a good team. Look at who they have played.

The teams that Ryle has beat have a combined record of 13 wins and 30 losses. Not a very strong schedule so far in this season.

The only respectable team that Ryle has played is Notre Dame. Ryle lost that one by 27 points.

Any team that can go 7-1 without its top 3 scorers and rebounders is a good

team regardless of who they are playing. Ryle played Notre Dame without

2 starters and with Moss playing in her first game back in which she played

less than half the game. Notre Dame is at full strength and a very good veteran team and you want to base whether or not Ryle is a good team basd on that one game. Notre Dame dominated the first half in that game and Ryle

played them to a 4 point game in the 2nd half. Ryle is good team now because they have found ways to win as a team through adversity and this will only make them that much stronger when they get at full strength.

I assume that Ryle's goal is to be competitive with N.D., Highlands, Connor, etc.

Ryle is 7-1 against teams that have a combined record of 13-30. That's a fact. Ryle is supposed to win games against weak teams.

N.D. was Ryle's first test of the season. Notre Dame thumped them by 27 points. It would have been worse than that if N.D. had not called off the dogs early in the second half.

Moss played 50% of the game and contributed 42.5% of the points (her points plus assists).

Ryle will be better when Moss & Crittendon are back at full strength. They make everyone around them better.

I'm guessing Ammerman for ND is still out. Any timeline on her return?
