The Lady Owls defeated the Lady Pirates at Stanton tonight by 13 points. Junior Mika Turner scored 27 points and Freshman Peyton Wright scored 25 points. Congratulations to the Lady Owls.

Nice early season win for the Lady Owls and coach Green. That snapped a 4 game losing streak to Powell County, where the Lady Owls had been outscored 269-180.

Good win by the Lady Owls. Powell will have a difficult time this year if they don't get their turnover promblems fixed. Plus Mcfarland seemed to have hurt her ankle in the game could be a big loss for the Lady Pirates.

She has potential to be a D-1 Prospect but she still has some maturing and improvement before she is considered to be D-1. Keep in mind she is only a Freshman.
