Not sure what this has to do with it. As a matter of fact I think that most of the players in the 8th except for a few are about even. Stith was outstanding last year and the season is too young to really draw any conclusion about her or Jones for that matter. I would hate to judge either on just a few games.

Balsinger (and others) did a nice job on shutting down Stith as did Wilhoit (and others) shutting down Jones. What Coach Roberts didn't expect was Wilhoit to get 25/19 against them. The same can be said about Hill getting 29 against Williamstown. That is what made the game so exciting.

LOL, I guess you need something to cheer about. We will see later on in the season who has the last laugh.

Any team you play, you will see the defense clamp down on whoever seems to be the biggest threat. Stith and Jones were probably identified that way and fortunately 2 others stepped up and had big games for both teams. That is why I think there are so many players in the 8th that are even.

 

Plus the Demon Dome is a hard place to play.!

Sounded like a good game. I guess everyone still thinks Stith is a top ten player in the region.

 

Give credit where credit is due. Stith is a top ten player, even the best have off nights. That's when others have to step up and they did. The best team won last night, plain and simple. :banana::jump:

I agree Hill and Wilhoite stepping up made the game exciting. Two sophmores make the future of the all a bright. I don't know about best team winning. It seems to me they are very evenly matched like most all a teams this year. ANytime you play at home that should be a 10 point advantage and with the band almost standing on the opposing teams bench that adds to it. But I'm glad I got out to the game. It was a good one and look forward to their battles.

Thats exactly what they are..........battles. These girls have been playing against each other for years and anyone can win on a given night. Congrats to the Demons on the win.
