Agreed. Too early to write off anyone. Williamstown is a good team. Just not a fan of preseason polls. I don't really see any use in them besides giving people something to talk about in the off season.

I have said all along that Owen is the favorite to win the Class A playing at home. Both teams put up a lot of points in this one. Was it closer than the score indicates?

Williamstown was voted as the favorite to win the All "A" by the coaches. They have a nice club. The All "A" can be won by about 5 teams this year. With it being played at Owen, I have to agree with Mr. Athletics, Owen should be the favorite. They shoot the ball well there

This surprises me a little. I expected the Demons to really pressure the perimeter and really be up on Gayheart in this game. Does anyone have any details of how this game played out.

I would think Carroll would be the favorite. Lost Girdy but return 5 players that have started. So far I would say Carroll has looked the best. The rest you could draw from a hat. I agree Owen is a factor with homecourt advantage. Gallatin and Williamstown return about everyone but coming of 10 and 6 win seasons. Gallatin has senior guards but the rest are young. Walton has young talent but it will take time. Just seems like it is wide open with Carroll a little ahead at this point, but it's early.
