Agree with this. And very much disagree that Guidugli is the only one of the 3who have a shot at D-1 anyways. West has every bit as much (or little, depending on your viewpoint) as Guidugli.

 

I wouldn't expect anything less coming from you.. I can't remember you ever saying anything good about a HHS player..With all that talent out in Union you should have two or three as good as Guidugli..:sleep::sleep:

Perhaps true but it doesn't matter. The team isn't picked based on recruiting. It is picked on performance.

In fact, I am the one who stated at the beginning of this thread that Guidugli was a big oversight on this list. And the most negative comment I have ever made about anyone from HHS is to say that they were a good player, but disagreed that they were a legitimate D-1 prospect. Feel free to go back through all my posts if you like to try and prove otherwise.

 

Beyond that, I'm not certain how you viewed my comment comparing Guidugli to West as negative. What - if someone dares say a QB is as good (or better) as Guidugli it's somehow an insult?

 

Ryle QB Conner Hempel has a shot to be every bit as good as Guidugli. Will he be? I have no idea, but he might be. Only a sophomore and put up some pretty nice numbers this year.

The problem at HHS is that most qb's only get to start their senior year..I think if Tony would of been starting since his sophmore year we wouldn't even be having this conversation..

I guess that falls into the category of "if if's and buts were candys and nuts". And many QB's could also make the claim that if they had HHS' OL blocking for them or HHS' WR's catching their passes, they would also be much better. Works both ways.

Guidugli not to be at least 2nd team is an absolute joke. Out of all three of those kids he will be the only one that sniffs D1..:irked:
