The Kentucky Football Coaches Associations has named Raceland's Coach Randy Vanderhoof as Coach of the year for District 1-5. The coaches association has also named Raceland's Bret Denton as Player of the year for District 1-5.

Denton was also named Co-Player of the year for District 1-5 in 2007.

Very well-deserved awards.

Congrats to Hoof and Bret. I have a lot of respect for Randy and always have. I have known Bret and his family for many years. Great family and wonderful examples of how to live your lives. I hope my son grows up to be like this young man.

Congratulations to Coach Hoof and young Mr. Denton. Good things happen to good people!!:thumb:
