GRC vs Ryle predictions

Yea he'll likely be guarded by Stauffer then.

Ryle will come out on the floor with something like this:

Ahern 5'8

Lamping 6'3

Coleman 6'4

Stauffer 6'5

Nichols 6'7

We started last night:

Rogers 6'5 or so

Daniels 6'6

Zollo 6'9

Stenzel 6'4

Hatton 6'0 or so

He's still getting back in to basketball shape from what I'm hearing. I'd expect him to see extensive time against GRC since they are a pretty big team and Ryle doesn't have much height outside of Stauffer, Coleman, Nichols, and Lamping.

Our Ryan Williams is also still banged up from football. He is 5'8 PG. Started last year. Great defense, steals , and assists are his game.

GRC has a HUGE team. I didn't know they were that big.

Will Williams start when he gets back? Would that make Daniels the odd man out in the starting lineup? Or Rogers?

And they would not start McLeish (6' 2") and Russell (6' 4")?

Wow I actually forgot about those two. Who did they start last night?

And Russell, who played inside as well as anyone on Ryle's team last night.

Ahern, McLeish, Stauffer, Russell, Coleman.

Subs that got a fair amount of pt included: Nichols, Lamping, Butts.

I am going to call an upset here. Ryle on their home floor in a nailbiter.

Ryle 54

GRC 53

I think the guards get a quick lesson in a couple days and the big fellas for Ryle have a coming out party.

Ryle will need to get a far better job from their PG to penetrate and provide some easier scoring opportunities for their big guys. Very little of that last night.

Ahern, McLeish, Stauffer, Russell, Coleman.

I'd assume Nichols will make his way in to the starting lineup within the next few games though right?

Also add in 6'7 Pervis which is a Sophomore that is out for the season.

Ryan Wiliams is back and played last night but asked to be taken out alot. Cory Rogers started Center all last year as a Freshman. Jaylan Daniels is the new starter. Played mostly JV last year. He is taking Travis Pervis place that probably would be starting now.....till Ryan Willimas could be back full time in the starting lineup.

I have no idea. Stauffer appears to offer much more offensively, but Nichols is a bigger body on defense.

Stauffer is a stud. He can score and passes extremely well for a big man.

Stauffer would serve better outside of the lane and Nichols in the lane. Nichols causes more of a problem for the other team inside. I don't think Andy was able to score on him inside last night. He is much more physical. The only reason he wasn't more of an offensive factor was Ryle did not take advantage of the mismatch down low. But that has been a Ryle trait for the past 2 years. They fed the ball twice down low which resulted in 2 scores. Not real sure on the logic but to many Boone fans made the same comment. But its only an opinion on my part. Regardless of who is down on the block the team has to take advantage of it.
