I would take it up with the Dean of students. Get your email saying there was going to be a grace period and then make sure there was no notice of them canceling of the grace period then tell the Dean. They can not make you pay it if they did not let students aware of it. Were there a bunch of other freshmen with cars on campus?

That crazy girl has still been bothering me so I finally had to be rude and she told me that in a few days I'd calm down and realize how much I loved her, I then asked if she was insane then she said, "don't ever talk to me again" to which I replied, no problem princess:D
