Now that preseason games have been played, what's some of the fresh opinions of a top 5 ranking consensus now?

I'd say after this week end we'll get a better idea. There are A LOT of scrimmages that will take place. Too hard to judge a team after just one scrimmage IMO.

I believe its hard to tell based on scrimmages. I don't see how teams can put much stock into them. From what I heard a lot of the better teams were either playing without payers (from injuries or football) or had just got their football players on the court. For 1 thing in 7th region Jeffersontown looks to be the best team, but there is 4 or 5 other teams who could win the region IMO.

Holmes at #5? Interesting, considering the majority of the state had them picked at #2 less than a week ago.

Honestly I don't think it really matters. Each team has played ONE scrimmage and the first scrimmage the teams usually just work on things and play different combinations of players. Their second and final scrimmage is usually a better indication of what to expect in the season.

Exactly. That was the whole point of starting the thread. Nothing has changed except it is a good learning experience as teams get acquainted to their new line-ups.

Its way too early to tell because not everyone has all of their players. Alot of football players aren't even back yet, and if they are, they aren't in "basketball mode" yet. Sometimes its a rough transition between seasons.

I guess people are reacting to the loss to Tates Creek. People are not taking into account that Holmes was missing at the least IMO a top 10 player in the state.
