Whitley hosts...Letcher travels. The higher seed or even region will host the semi-state. Letcher would obviously be the lower seed than presumptively Highlands from region 3. If Whitley wins they are Region 4 and both them and again assuming Highlands win will be 1 seeds, thus Highlands would make the trip to Gold Bug.

At the semi-state level seeding isn't factored in. In 5A, the even region hosts and the odd region travels this year.

 

Whitley/JC - Whitley is home team.

 

Whitley/HHS - Whitley is home team.

 

LC/JC - Letcher County Central is home team.

 

LC/HHS - Letcher County Central is home team.
