Congratulations to Boone Co., good luck next week.

 Please. Boone has always used the run for the single-minded purpose of running the ball down the throats of their opponents. And every once in awhile one of their pass plays works. I don't really think their mindset is to "use the running game to set up a big, game-changing pass play."

Obviously you didn't see Boone play Trinity in the state semi's last year. Boone threw the pigskin all over the field and 2900+ yards running back Corey Farris only had 11 carries in that game. This year they passed very effectively against Simon Kenton. They will do what needs to be done. Last night was very cold and several of Walsh's throws were a little high, but he came through when needed. Boone has always run the ball effectively and know which side of their bread is buttered!

Is the last 1 minute on video anywhere! I want to see it! Good Job Rebel's!

And you're sure that had nothing to do with the fact that they were down so far and fast in that game and the rushing game was going nowhere?

In 11 games this year (stats not listed for the Paul Dunbar or SK games), Boone has completed a grand total of 52 passes. I don't consider it a major point that you can cite one game in which they threw a fair amount or even several games in which their passing game had some effect on the game. They are a running team through and through. And they do it very well.

DITTO

What a finish, sounds like these two teams were very evenly matched after two very close games. BC winning on a passing play, that's not an every day occurence. Lokesak with a very impressive reception to pull this one out.

I am equally impressed with the fact Boone County actually had a field goal...

I'm pretty sure so are we.
