Final

This was a total mismatch. I expected Pineville to be better than this.Barton had a big game.

This is somewhat disappointing. Pineville is a a better football team than what this score indicates.

Did Pineville have kids out of the game tonight?

Going into this one, there was too much of a Williamsburg Offense for Pineville to try to stop.

I think they had two that had gotten ejected the week before. The score was 42 to nothing before the half, Williamsburg put the subs in to start the second half. They scored three times on the subs. I think they scored all three touchdowns on dive plays.

Williamsburg has some good young kids they are just inexperienced. Pineville's older players took advantage of that and scored 3 TD's. The Jackets took a business-like approach in this game and systematically dismantled the Pineville defense. WHS played pretty well on defense too, which has been the big secret this season...they have a much improved defense over last year's squad, giving up aroud 17 points per game this season.

They had three ejected in NKY and two others who were dismissed from team the week prior for reasons we cannot discuss on here. Five starters....their numbers cannot easily recover from that kind of hit.

No. A Class A team loses a body, they generally lose 2 due to the kids playing both ways. 5 is almost an entire team.

Disappointing year for Pineville. Talk was they thought they could win 6 or 7. With the schedule they should had.
