Do the Ram's go to # 1 with Beechwood losing?

I don't think they should, but it wouldn't surprise me if some of the polls have them there, just based on the 10-0 versus 9-1. In my opinion Beechwood is number one until beaten by an 1A team.

The ranking is not important really,it is all decided on the field.I am sure it would make the kid's very proud with all the work they have put in this year.I know practically every day i go by the field they are out there practicing.Will show them in life,all the hard work really does pay off!:thumb:

I agree, the ranking mean virtually nothing, but it is nice to be recognized for your accomplishments.

 

But, like you said, it is all proven on the field, and if five weeks we will know the real results.

They have work to do to get to Belfry,cannot overlook anyone this time of year.What a consolation to win next week......LOL .Belfry will win 3A without a doubt in my mind.

 

My hat is off to West Carter, they continued to fight throughout the game, and put together some nice drives, but just had trouble punching it in. West played hard and they should be commended.

 

:thumb: Well said Ram, the West Carter kids did not quit and even on the last play were on the way to a TD before being run down from behind.

 

The West Carter kids are very well coached. Coach Brown is a class act as are his players.

:thumb: Beechwood is #1 and rightfully so untill someone beats them. NCC is a very good football team and a powerful program as well.

I just noticed that congratulations are in order for your 10-0 record - Kudos to the Rams! :thumb:

On a side note, we thought that our local channel 24 on time warner would carry the delayed telecast of this game but instead they are showing the replay of the Rail Cities Bowl on 10/31... (Raceland's win over Russell). I am going to watch this one again.....:ylsuper:

Congrats to these fine Young Men on a perfect "REGULAR" season. This is only the second time in school history that this have ever happened (1996) My brother played on that team and i have some very fond memories from that year, even though i was a young ram at the time. Hopefully these Rams have more sucess in the playoffs then that team did.

These boys this year have been playing as a true "TEAM", and thats what it takes to win championships. I have grown to become good friends with several of them over the last few years, and i wish them the best of luck in the weeks that follow.

Congratulations Raceland for the completion of an outstanding season and an unblemished record of 10-0. This is an accomplishment which will be revered in Ram lore for many, many years.

 

Best of luck in the pursuit of a state championship. From now on out though…its one and done. The maturity of this team is one of their most impressive attributes…I don’t see the Rams taking any prisoners from here on out.

I hope your right about not having seen their best game yet. I've said that all year that they haven't played up to their real potential yet.
