Before Hussein was captured and Killed...Who do you believe was more of a threat to the world...Hussein or Osama bin laden?

 

 

To the world, I'd say both were pretty big of threats. I can't say one was more so than the other.

 

I'm not trying to say the war wasn't botched, but once we were there, it would have done more harm than good if we had just packed up and left. We've made progress over there.

How much more progress, according to you, does the US need to make before the troops should be aloud to come home.

It has to be a step by step process though IMO. It can't be all at once.

 

Why? What's so wrong with saying "Pack it up boys, we're going home"???

 

 

As easy as they were sent over they should be aloud to come home that much easier.

Because we have to make sure the Iraqi army and government can defend themselves at this point from the insurgents. To start laying more and more of the responsibility a little at a time on the Iraqi people is the way to do it IMO...If we just go from being there one day, to them having to do it all overnight, would be disasterous IMO.

No doubt we have made progress there...I just don't like the fact Bush used 911 as a excuse to go to war with Iraq...IMO The War should have started and Finished when his Dad was president not eight years later...

So I wonder How much Money the USA is getting paid to Build this Government and Army for Iraq?If I'm not mistaken Iraq is not a Poor Country like Ethiopia...

Then we will be there forever. Bring the troops home, we've lost enough and accomplished little. Bush wouldn't bring them home because he would look like an idiot (even though most people all ready knew that).

Hopefully, we are in position to leave. But we have to let the Iraqi's know that hey, you live in Iraq, step up to the plate and defend your own country. I am tired of seeing us be the world police, complimentary of the US tax payers.

Do you know how many times an Iraqi battalion of 1,000 guys were supposed to show up somewhere and only 50 guys show? You can't spoon feed grown adults in there own country forever.
