It would have been nice if they would have scheduled a Scott Co. vs. Elliott Co. game.

Also it would have been nice to see Manual vs. Madisonville to see Hood and Jenkins go against each other.

And put them the last games of the day right? Wrong

They are very smart to split most of these teams up a little bit for money reasons.:thumb:

From the C-J:

The best preseason basketball scrimmage lineup in the state last season was at Sheldon Clark and it looks like they will put on another big show in Inez this season.

The Fast Lane Classic, which gave us Scotty Hopson vs. Darius Miller last season, has an outstanding seven-game lineup that includes several of the top Mr. Basketball candidates and a few of the state's top teams.

This year's event will be held Nov. 29 starting at 11 a.m.

The marquee game is the finally, pitting Madisonville and Mr. Basketball frontrunner and Kentucky commitment Jon Hood against Elliott County. The three-time 16th Region champion figures to be one of the top five teams in the state this preseason.

Also playing in the event will be Scott County, featuring top juniors Dakotah Euton, Chad Jackson and Ge-lawn Guyn, Manual featuring senior Jacob Jenkins and the state's preseason top girls' team in Lexington Christian.
