That's not what I was saying at all. In fact quite the opposite. Bush was a huge reason that many voted the way they did. I think it's sad that people didn't make their decisions based on the 2 actual candidates.

Well I believe most who voted did. However, I do know alot of Rep. who voted for Obama because they see alot of Bush in McCain. He did vote with him 90% of the time.

52% to 46% is borderline landslide, especially when you look at the electoral vote.

 

Heck, didn't GWB claim a mandate with significantly fewer numbers? Don't I remember something about "spending political capital?"
