Middlesboro 49 South Laurel 29

Featured Replies

Yellow Jackets led 42-7 in the third quarter before pulling out the win.

Shocking, to say the least, no so much the Middlesboro win but the ease in which it came.

I thought Middlesboro could do something like this to SL, just not by this many. Now we have them next week! YIKES!

I think the Campers will give them a fight.

We're going to have to execute better than we did tonight, Les. Mental errors are killing us. We had our chances and I look to have our chances with the Jackets, too, but it's what we do with those chances that worries me.

Not this year.

SLs defense has to improve. Hunter Adams had over 300 yards of offense by the beginning of the 3rd quarter to go with 6 TDs (4 rushing, 1 recieiving, 1 INT ret), ... he was huge tonight.

Middlesboro is primed for the playoffs

I would like to know what SLs assistant coach said to get ejected. 3-4 flags came out within 3 seconds so he obviously found that certain magical combination of words to get a ticket to the parking lot.

Bowling had 3 TDs and 2 Ints in the game to go with 1 rushing TD. Not sure on yards, but he had 198 passing in the first half but only 1 TD. Middlesboro's defense did an excellent job in stalling SL drives stopping them on 3 4th down conversion attempts.

Not a shocker SL has not played very well lately.
