Only three games, which were their only losses. Two of the losses were to highly ranked teams in the state (Daviess county and Henderson County).

CovCath has played such a brutal schedule (as usual) with all of those games being played on the road, that playing a good team at home should give them some advantage. It's tough to beat Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown Ohio), Newport Central Catholic (who they did beat), Ft. Thomas Highlands, Beechwood, and Cincinnati Elder all on the road, so playing a tough team at home, especially with M.N.H. having to travel close to four hours to play, should result in a win for the Colonels.

 

While M.N.H. might have played some tough teams in Henderson County and Daviess County (and I mean no disrespect to them at all) I truly don't think those two teams are in the same class as Ft. Thomas Highlands, Cincinnati Elder and or CovCath next foe on Saturday November 8 Louisville St. X!

 

Be safe in driving up Maroons fans, and I hope you enjoy yourselves while you are in NKy, except of course, at the football game!

 

If this is a home and home series, I know I will be coming down next year to M.N.H to see the game and to visit my daughter.

CCH is getting better: CCH 31-24

Don't care how down some people think CovCath is this year, it is always hard to win on Sat. in Park Hills. There is really only one team that has had any lasting success on Sat. over in Park Hills and they aint playing them. With that said, CovCath will win this one and be on their way to a 5-5 regular season and going into the playoffs.

Do not read what is going on in the other thread into how the team is going to play on Saturday. I am finding that over the last couple of weeks the players and coaches are finally on the same page. The players are having fun again

The other thread is something that has been going on since last year with most parents and players moving on, it just finally got air out on BGP

Most parents now realize that the schedule was not of Brossart's doings

and everyone is looking forward to playing Highlands in the third week of

the playoffs
