Congrats to Coach Herron, Coach Black and Coach Jewell and their 3 fine football teams for representing this area. All the hard work you kids put into football make us proud. Good luck to all in the playoffs, as we go after 3 regional and state championships!!:ylsuper:

AMEN!!!!:dancingpa

Glad someone else decided to say it. :bunny:

I was knocking any other counties I was saying has that happened in Whitley Co. before. I know in Jefferson Co. it has been done. I think it is a rare year for the Whitley Co schools. I would also like to see these teams start playing each other. The Williamsburg vs. Corbin games was a lot of fun. It is a shame it is not a annual game.

Bell, Middlesboro and Pineville have done it a few times. Not sure of the dates though.

I would be interested in finding a year in which that happened. Do you think you could find that for us. I am sure it has happened, Pineville at one time was a very strong program in the Mountains. I think it might have happened in 2000, but I am not 100% confident in saying that.

I wasn't sure if you were saying that or wondering if it had been done before or not. I wasn't trying to denigrate the accomplishment.
