Good job Rebels, looks good for the next few years.

Boyle JV continues to roll.

I have been wating for your post, must have been a great game.I am sure that you and Allen were very quiet!:jump:

If my information is correct Lincoln County beat Southwestern (jv) to clinch the 4 seed in the playoffs. Lincoln has won 4 in a row it should be a good game come next Monday at Rebel Stadium.

Yes they did I think Lincoln 33 SW 20 (jv). I to am looking forward to a good game. But it could become another runaway by Boyle. This group of sophmores continue to get better every week. With the varsity winning big this allows for the JV to get real game expreience on the big stage.:ylsuper:

It was a good game Boyle seemed to start slow on their first drive. After that they seemed to score at will. Coach Roe and his staff do a super job with the jv.

Looking forward to playing Lincoln at home on Monday.:dancingpa

I be there next Monday to see the young Rebels and the young Patriots. I hope for a good game.

I heard from a very reliable source that Lincoln has moved quite a few juniors down to play JV. If this is true, this game could be tougher than the last time we played them.

Not sure who your reliable source is, but just to set the record straight Lincoln only has 5 Juniors. One has never played JV, one has been hurt for about 4 weeks and out for the season. The other 3 have played in only about half the JV games.

Although those 3 have been key players, the game against SW was only played by Freshmen and Sophmores. I am a parent, so I do know. Nevertheless, the game will be a tough one and correct me if I'm wrong, but does'nt Boyle play some Juniors in JV too?

Without mentioning names, the source is closer to the program than a parent. ;) I believe one jr plays defense plus another is the kicker on the JV team for Boyle, but I can't really say for sure. I don't go to many JV games and only "know" most of the players by number.

I may be incorrect but if an 8th grader played in the game isn't that against some rules that have been passed by the KHSAA? Like I said already, I might be wrong but I think that in football and soccer that atheletes above freshmean are not allowed to participate on the same field at the same time as student not yet enrolled in high school.

Let's all keep in mind Rule #4

4. No school-specific (or general) recruiting comments or allegations of KHSAA rules violations by any school, coach, player or booster are allowed. No talking about where any player lives, has lived, or where they are from in a recruiting context. This is not the place to report KHSAA violations. Feel free to contact www.khsaa.org to report such violations, but do not discuss violations here.

Not a problem and to clarify, regarding Football here is the KHSAA Case BL-4-6- What restrictions are in place for students below grade nine (9) to participate on the high school level? ByLaw.

What restrictions are in place in football and soccer for students below grade nine (9)? Students below grade nine (9) within a feeder school and/or within the local system may not participate in any activity (practice, scrimmage or game) designated by either team as “varsity (first team)” in football or soccer. Students below grade nine (9) may not participate (practice, scrimmage or play) on non-varsity (freshman, junior varsity, etc.) level teams in football or soccer if any member of the team they are representing or the team they are competing against is enrolled in any grade above grade ten (10). It is the obligation of the school desiring to allow the grade school (below grade nine) student to participate to ensure compliance with this provision.

I know of a junior safety and a junior kicker, but I believe that's it. All of the rest are freshmen and sophomores. Should be a good game, I always look forward to playing Lincoln County regardless of what sport or level it is.:fight:

Go Rebels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:flame:
