I have been told Goldsmith is a beast on the low blocks. I sure he hasn't but it almost seems as if Goldsmith has grown since football season started.

I was impressed with what I saw from Goldsmith at the Centre camp this summer. I wouldn't necessarily say he was a beast, but he was consistent and efficient. Not to mention that was his first structured time with the basketball team. He seems to be set to become an immediate contributor who only boosts our frontline.

I agree Goldsmith looked good at Centre. Very physical, good footwork.

After tonight, I look forward to the return of the football players. It's too hard to get a good assessment of the team and will be difficult to get that assessment until late December, early January if our football team continues with its winning ways, which I hope happens. :thumb:

We looked good in spots I thought. Throw away the whole 3rd quarter. Hunter Glasscock carried the scoring load for the team. Without Hunter and Cory Jones we wouldn't have had any consistent scoring at all tonight. As time goes on, I still expect this team to have a successful year and to get better every game.

The student section is in midseason form though. Thoroughly entertaining.:D

Three former players are not coming out after football. All 3 saw limited varsity action last year. Goldsmith and Austin are the two transfers. Ankle injury should be back Monday. Knee injury next monday hopefully.

After talking to these players tonight, they told me they were in fact playing. Aumiller, Goldsmith, MacShara, Walker, Marshall, Mason, and Crutchfield. Starters should help us out and add much needed depth. Our student section is great!
