October 7, 200817 yr Our freakin' cable went out early here (I hate time warner:irked:), what is the score..inning? 2-2 top of the 9th.
October 7, 200817 yr I agree, he's a bulldog. He had plenty left in the tank. Good to see a guy like him get so far after dealing with what he did. I'm riding him to close that inning. No doubt about it...
October 7, 200817 yr The worst part is that Papelbon is pretty much unavailable tonight after pitching 2 innings last night.
October 7, 200817 yr The worst part is that Papelbon is pretty much unavailable tonight after pitching 2 innings last night. He can go but after throwing 31 last night he's only good for one inning. Lester should have pitched, or at least started the 8th.
October 7, 200817 yr Huge play by the Captain. And the correct call. Win or lose very gutsy call by Scioscia. Even though we're playing them to advance I can't harbor any ill will toward the Angels, they are a very gritty team.

Even though we're playing them to advance I can't harbor any ill will toward the Angels, they are a very gritty team. Both they and Boston have two of the best in the business on the bench. I'm the same way, I can't help but respect the Angels and the way they play.
October 7, 200817 yr The a stupid play by the Angels. Not really, Aybar led the league in bunt hits and he was up 2-0 in the count with Figgins, who is not a threat to ground into a double play, on deck. Delcarmen had to try to come with a strike.
