I'd say get there early if you want a decent seat. Covcath-Highlands will draw a nice crowd simply because of the rivalry between the two schools. Throw in the fact that many of the St Henry and Ryle fans as well as the CCH-Highlands fans will stay for the Scott CO-Holmes game and the place should be rockin'. I wouldn't be surprised to see over 5,000 people there for the last game.

 

Scott Co-Holmes could be a potential state championship preview and IMO would draw 5,000 people alone even if it were the only game that day. Expect to see lots of college coaches in attendance as well for this day.

I agree. I wouldn't be surprised to see the place sold out. Practically every basketball fan in nky will be there for the Holmes/SC game since it's on a Sunday evening and I'm sure the couple thousand who attend the CCH/Highlands game will want to stick around as well.

Day? Weekend should be more like it. All-in-all there with be 10 games played at The Bank of Kentucky Center from Friday, Dec. 12 to Sunday, Dec. 14.

 

The NKU women's basketball team is hosting their annual pre-Xmas tournament from 12/12-12/13 (games are at 5:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. with NKU playing the late game each day) and then the BBCC on 12/13-12/14.

 

Now for that Saturday, you will have to buy a separate ticket to watch the BBCC and the NKU women's tournament.

I just got an email today from The Bank of Kentucky Center newsletter saying that tickets can be purchased at the box office, online, by phone, or at local Krogers.

 

I think I heard that the schools were also selling tickets to the event as well.

 

A little over a week to go and I'm really excited about being there.

The Classic was played at The Cintas Center a few years back. But you're right...the talent level really dropped off when the event was moved to Thomas More.
