Palin Daughter Wedding Good For the Campaign?

Featured Replies

You're unreal.

Who said or implied any of the possibilities you threw out there?

The "point" (obvious to most who can see straight) is that you have campaign members saying anonymously that a wedding will help the campaign.

   Wow...

I didn't say that anyone "said" the possibilities I listed, but they certainly are implied... even for those of us who apparently don't see straight.

I agreed that politicizing this situation is sad, but I'm not sure what alternative (apart from the silly politics) "those who see straight" are suggesting would be the better option for daughter Palin.

I'm convinced that if Palin supporters didn't attempt to "publicize" this event as a positive, Palin haters in the media would have "publicized" it as a negative. Both sides are reaching IMO.

Perhaps you can set me straight?

I haven't seen anyone suggesting an abortion, or that they not get married. Just that using it for politcal purposes is entirely wrong.

I agree... politics stink.

My point is that no matter what the daughter and her husband-to-be decided to do-or not do-it was going to be news.

I honestly believe it would have been politicized one way or the other. I was just trying to see beyond the surface and determine what option (if any) would have made more sense to BGPers?

They get married in a normal wedding would be my guess.

Nobody said or implied any of those things!

Again...did you read the article?

To be fair and as I pointed out, this absurdity came from campaign workers. I don't believe Sen. McCain would stoop to this.

There is hope after all. We finally agree on something.

Ridiculous comment from an unnamed source. And you people are giving it creditability.

I don't believe for one minute that Mccain would do this at all, there is also no doubt that there are some in the other camp that want nothing more to make it look, like this.

I also believe that there are people on both sides of the campaign that believe exactly as I do........ This is a non issue and to try and make it one for whatever reason is pathetic.
