I don't want to take any thing away from Lloyd it was a Great game by the Juggs. Newport play good enough to win this game they are starting to come together some what. Newport had 3 starters out for this game, OL/DL Webb (starting center), star WR Thomas and there Defense end. With 5 turn overs Newport gave this game away. I would like to say a early Merry Christmas to the Juggs for the gift Newport gave them last night. Good Luck the rest of the season!

Newport could not have won this game. Lloyd was winning by as much as 21 points at one time. Newport only had the momentum for the last few minutes of the game, after the whole #66 incident. That sparked something for Newport. Newport did run the ball well though, and their defense made a few nice plays. But they could not have won this game.

If not for the turnovers I believe this game would have had a different out come. Not to take anything away from the Juggs - they came to play and took advantage of the turn overs. Newport's O-line was playing much better this week - the run game was going great for Newport. If Newport can keep improving I believe they can beat Holy Cross and get a rematch with the Juggs in the first round of the playoffs.

Newport could have and should have won this game. Newport had 4 turnovers that resulted in 4 scores by LLoyd. LLoyd played much better than Newport and they just kept plugging away. Good job, Juggs!

I also disagree with Juggernaut 23, the best thing about our district is that anyone could beat anyone on any given night. We have one of the toughest districts in 2a. I wouldn't be suprised if any of our teams were in Louisville
