Gilliam 179 yards on 17 carries. That has moved him up to 8 ypc now.

The Bears defense racking up those sacks week after week.

I believe the offense has over 1400 yards now in 4 games, if not it is real close.

Everyone seems to be clicking, now to get everyone back and stay healthy.

They need to be healthy and have everyone this week against Breathitt County, they will be TOUGH. This will be a very crowded event.

3W, Could you find the stats of the D-Line, Or could you point me in that direction.

These are currently the top 4, I believe in tackles on the D-Line.

Calton: 29 Tackles

Ison: 26 Tackles

Phillips: 18 Tackles

Maggard: 18 Tackles

As far as sacks go, I'm not sure on how many each of them have, as a team they have 17 sacks in the past 2 games alone though.

Phillips, I think had 3 or 4 sacks in the fleming co game...

I think the Black Bears underestimated Lee County a little as I think some of us did also and felt like they didn't have to play to beat them, but Coach Larkey marched them up the hill at halftime and lit a fire in them. The D was very impressive in the second half. They will need that focus and a little more grit next Friday but as good as they have looked, Breathitt will be in for a battle. Also the Helmet will be out for its first game. Go Bears!

How can they underestimate anybody?

None of them have won anything yet.

Talking about sacks and D-line and all that kind of stuff, If the Ison kid doesn't get some state wide honors for his play this year something is bad wrong! What he has done the 1st four games of this season is simply Maul people. He destroyed the opponent specifically in the second half. It was one of the better single game effort from a Harlan County player in a long time.
