He was air lifted to Lex, from what I heard, and MRI came back fine, but he was still having trouble with feeling in his arm. This is second hand information.

I agree, LC99. Someone has to make these kids show their emotions. Don't want another "Zombie" team like '06. Seniors need to take the lead (This means Sydney, Woody and Jonah, Josh Baker and the rest need to make this "their" team and do it now.) Tyrone, Wes and the other guys need to be more vocal than they are now, also. Someone will step up soon. It's time.

It is sad to see the team that just a few years ago produced the #1 pick in the NFL draft show up with less than two dozen players.

 

Lynn Camp was the better team and took care of business. It's a typical Lynn Camp team, a bunch of speed in the backfield and huge linemen.

If Jonah Mitchell had two good hands right now, he would have had at least 4 picks last night. He had one with a 1/2 arm cast on. He bobbled 3 more without being able to secure them with his bad arm.

 

It is sad to watch a team like Leslie come apart like they have.

Last night was as rough as I've seen a Lynn Camp offense look in a long while. You see the score and you think the 'Cats must have been moving the ball tremendously but that was hardly the case. LC dominated the field position battle, keeping the Eagles on their own side of the fifty with the exception of about 5 plays.

Did anyone else notice that LC had a DB with a broken arm who snagged an interception?

Leslie had some bright spots. We did have trouble blocking the Collett kid (#61). Very slow start for the Cats, though, and turnovers were a problem in the first half. 2 on bad punt receptions. Win is a win, now onto HCHS next week.

Also, I want to thank all the kids and coaches from all the schools that participated in this year's Pioneer Bowl. They were fed after the game in a hospitality tent and were the most gracious and friendly bunches of kids and coaches we've been around. Players, Parents and Coaches are to be commended on 4 fine groups of young men. Keep up the good work, everyone.

I am a Leslie fan & without beating around the bush, they are terrible. Lynn Camp shouldn't put to much stock into this win. I mean yeah, they won the game 32-0 & a win is a win but it just doesn't say much about their team other than they beat a very, very bad team. Anywho, Good Luck to both teams the rest of the way.

 

BTW, what time did this game end? It didn't start until 9 I believe. That was probably the latest start time of the night.

 

I agree with you about not putting to much stock in this game. The Cats have several very good teams on their schedule and they won this game like they should, other than the QB for Leslie not much going on there.

Leslie is not known to be a football powerhouse. There just like most other schools in the state. They go through there cycles. They will be a district title contender again in a couple years.
