What is the story behind this?

In 1975 SCHS and Georgetown High School merged, in their first year together they won the class AA State Championship. At the time they did not recieve championship rings (not sure if it this is typical), the coach...Coach Bill Wilson and his staff have fundraised the money and purchased rings for the team. All members of the team have RSVP'ed and will be in attendence (i believe 3 have passed away). This ceremony is going along with the SCHS Athletics Hall of Fame Induction of their first class...it includes Ukari Figgs (former miss basketball that won a championship at every level) Coach Bill Wilson, and the 1975 SCHS Football Team.

Scott Co. 21-14.
