July 28, 200818 yr Author I am interested in the traffic affairs. Well, we made it. Drove through the night and got to Williamsburg, VA around 7 am. Got Mickey D's breakfast and then I head to the back of the van to sleep....next thing I knew, we were at our house around 11:00 (give or take a half hour). House isn't ready until 1:00, so we hung out on a pier and got some lunch (or was it dinner? ). House was ready, moved in, checked out the pool & hot tub and then I crashed until about 11:00. I'm now wide awake & everybody else has been in bed for a while. Could be a long night....
July 28, 200818 yr Colonel Crazy, don't know excatly where you are located, but you should try Awful Arthur's Oyster Bar located at MP6 Beach Road, Kill Devil Hills. We had a ball there years ago.

Leaving is easy... the worst is over. Leave early and you will be fine. Enjoy your trip... I have spent many a vacation in OBX. If you have never been be sure to see The Lost Colony at Manteo, the lighthouses, Wright Brothers Museum.

I agree...leave early and you shouldn't have any problems. We stayed at Williamsburg on the way in and went to Jamestown...it is very nice and educational. We loved it.

August 2, 200818 yr Author You sure you don't want to stay a while longer? I'm thinking about it, but I'm assuming we'd have to pay for another week. I think Jamestown will be aaaaaiiiiigggghhhhttt.
