July 12, 200818 yr So I'm stuck at home tonight because my alleged better-half is pretty sick so I could become delirious with my posting tonight... I'm already bored and watching some movie trailers and here are a few that I think will be pretty good: Quantum of Solace I loved the last Bond movie and I think he's excellent for the role so I will definitely be seeing this one. Traitor I like Cheadle and this looks like a pretty solid flick. Step Brothers Ferrell has done some bad stuff imo but other times he has been genius and this looks absolutely hilarious. The Day the Earth Stood Still I really liked the original so I'm a little interested in this new version. I just hope they didn't ruin it for me. Gonzo A documentary about Hunter S. Thompson that actually come out on the 4th. It looks like it was pretty well done and I will definitely be seeing this one. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Pretty unique storyline, has potential for a pretty good movie. Plus I've come to trust Pitt with the majority of his choices. Eagle Eye This one could go either way so I'll reserve my judgment for a later date.
July 12, 200818 yr Pineapple Express Looks like another funny one. Starring Seth Rogen and James Franco. Trailer

July 12, 200818 yr Author They have this movie hyped up quite a bit..I hope it doesn't disappoint. That's my biggest concern.
July 12, 200818 yr They have this movie hyped up quite a bit..I hope it doesn't disappoint. Looks like they kept a few actors from the last one and I loved the last one. In fact, I watched it two times the night it come out.
July 12, 200818 yr Author I'm disappointed that Rachel Weiss won't be in the third Mummy movie. I'm with you on that one.
July 12, 200818 yr I usually watch movies online but there are a few that have been listed that I'll go to the theatre to watch cause of the experience of being there with a big crowd. Those are Step Brothers & Pineapple Express. As stated above, Will Ferrell has been in some really bad movies, REALLY bad (including Talladega Nights and Semi-Pro) but I will give this one a chance. I've never been a fan of John C. Reilly and think his comedy is less than subpar so I hope this one is going to be better than I've grown acustomed to from this pair. Also as stated about, Seth Rogen is hilarious. Now he's a comedic genius IMHO and I've not been disappointed in anything of his I've seen. I actually have Superbad in my five favorites of all time. I'll be there at AMC On The Levee when this one comes out. Now we come to the one that you couldn't pay me enough to go see is Dark Knight....and before I go on, a dang commercial just came on for this movie.....it makes me sick!....this I'll explain in the coming sentences I never have been and never will be a fan of Heath Ledger. Some people have said to me that I should go to see it because of his passing....I say NO I shouldn't have to. He was never any good IMHO when he was alive so why should I go watch something now that he's passed. I do think it was tragic that he passed the way he did but why should we honor his life when there are others that have passed due to the same thing he passed over and you don't see Hollywood building up what they did. Brokeback Mountain was the straw that broke the camel's back for m with him....AND Jake Gyllenhall too.....so I can't support either of them. Sorry if this sounds rude to say about someone who has passed but I'd say it about him if he was standing right in front of me.
