Are there any good tournaments in the area this weekend. Would love to see some good basketball this weekend.

It's the dead period. No one is playing.

What "area"?

In the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area. Can kids play AAU ball in the dead period? If not, when does dead period end?

Dead Period is just for HS teams. They can still play, just not for their HS teams. Most players will now be at camps. BlueChip starts this Sunday, UC has a team camp, I THINK that it starts this week, they used to have 3 sesions, of course if any KY HS team is in there they will be using a parent or someone else to coach them.

The Dead period runs from June 25 through July 9 each year. The Dead Period starts on June 25 beginning at 12:01 a.m. and continues through the 11:59 p.m. on July 9.

I know there is a NKY Tar Heels AAU tourney this weekend at BCI.

You'll have to wait another week, but the biggest national event in the area is June 6-8 at UC...
