June 26, 200818 yr An AOL poll I took today had McCain in front in a head to head contest by 13%. There were over 400,000 responses. I guess it's all in who the pollster is and how the questions are asked. But in this poll it was pretty simple..."Who would you choose in a head to head matchup, McCain or Obama?"

June 26, 200818 yr 12 points if it's just Obama-McCain, and 15 if you include Nader and Barr. Just like a pre season football or basketball poll. I seem to remember predictions and comments on on paticualr in state NCAA football team last season claming "Elite" and/or "National Power" to but that didn't happen. (j/k, don't get all excited....:thumb:)
June 27, 200818 yr Obviously the results are going to show a big lead for Obama....The people surveyed was made up of: 39% Democrats, 27% Independents, 22% Republicans....
June 28, 200818 yr I thought a Sunday morning pundit hit the nail on the head. John McCain cannot win this race. BUT Obama CAN LOSE it. Now this makes a ot of sense to me, very good analogy imo.
