^I doubt it's happened in recent history. It's just the conspiracy theorists/Junior haters at work once again.

I love laughing at you JR haters and all your crackpot consiracy theories of why he gets more than other people do. Its just down right comical. I have seen races in the past where drivers were trying to save fuel at the end of a race and went on the apron and passed the pace car under caution. The one that comes to mind was the 1999 Firecracker 400 at Daytona when Dale Jarrett gambled on fuel and a late race caution came out. Instead of pitting he stayed out and won the race under caution(OF course that was before the green-white-checkered rule for all you that are new to NASCAR). The same scenerio took place then as yesterday. NASCAR warned DJ about it and from then on he stayed behind the pace car just like JR did. My question is do any of you have any proof of NASCAR ever penalizing anyone for doing that? Cause I cant remember if they ever have. As far as the overrated comment goes there are 40 other drivers out there that wish they were as "Overrated" as JR is. Its time all you JR bashers just break down and admit that the boy can drive and hes proving it week after week.

I am sorry to upset the Jr fans but IMO he is overrated, compared to the hype and pub he gets in regards to other drivers in the circuit, who IMO are better. However nascar is a business and selling the ads, and tv ratings is what matters most.

 

I thought this move fell under "failure to maintain a safe and prudent speed under caution". Oh well no use in talking about it now. For the record I have nothing against JR.

The good thing about Jr. winning is that we wont have to deal with the obnoxious nation cheering about it for at least two more years...

I dont think Kyle Busch (10 Wins already in just 4 years), Jeff Gordon (No comparison ever), Carl Edwards (10 in 4 years), Jimmie Johnson (34 wins) just to name a few would want to be as "overrated" as JR, (I'm speaking of what they do on the track, not what is sold at the tshirt trailer) simply b/c they win races consistently. So that is 4 of the 41 who I dont think would.... of course just my opinion.

Last time i checked JR is in second place in points and runs his own race team on top of that i dont think that is being overrated he does alot already showing up the dominant hendrick stable that says enough its self.
