Dont know what you are talking about by severe damage but you guys should not have a hard time turning the program around since there are only a few left to turn around.

Here is some insight to Russell. Kidwell has two former High School standouts that were also College Players in Parsley and Skaggs. Instead of using them to his benefit he will probably pick option "Z" , which is to allow "Bench Daddies" to coach in his system and will probably condone them to coach Russell players in AAU Basketball. I guess when the going gets tough the tough transfers to other schools like Russell. I am very concerned for all the schools in this region and in a couple of other regions because of what has been allowed to go on over the years.

Bless your heart, where to start. First, Skaggs played in college, common knowledge. By your definition, he's still a "bench daddy" so I don't know how you plan on him benifiting if he's not sitting on the bench. As for AAU basketball, I didn't know that any coaches had to condone their players to play. And from all indications, it would behoove the coach to use any means at his disposal to get kids to play above and beyond the typical school season. And as far as my hair goes, I'm tickled that you have so much concern for it, it is my trademark you know. But since this thread is about RCHS and not Russell, well the AAU thing has proven over the years to benefit them.....ma'am.:thumb:

You just wont leave things alone. You have your coaching staff and all your girls so why not just let things die down. Are you that upset that 3 of the starters are leaving next year. Sorry but not my problem so get off of my case. When I had these girls in grade school and middle school there were never any complaints we always had a blast and went and did things as a team and had a great time. You keep saying he did this and he did that HE was not the head coach He was the coach of grade school and middle school, and he was the ASSISTANT coach on the high school team. You guys can go ahead and cut down the coaches of last year and thats fine but some of you that knew the head coach knows that she did things to lift their spirits and help them to have a good time through the season ,We were loosing games but anybody that looked at our bench could see why(we were young). You guys have fun cutting down the coaches. Good luck next season.

 

Last year's coach or this year's coach? No player should ever take it for granted that they are going to start regardless of their age, class or their respective school. Outside of the Frily girl the rest of the team were nothing but little middle schoolers. Not just in girls basketball but also in boys basketball, there is way to much stock being put into middle school kids that may or may not develop into great players. No offense to Rose Hill but rhfan you mentioned 3 starters were leaving, those 3 and the other one would not have started at any other school, probably not even dressed on the Varsity. I honestly don't see what the issue is, no one but you mentioned about the kids leaving. Those 3 will have no impact one way or another on the future of the girls basketball program at Rose Hill. Like every school in the region, kids come and go, no big deal. This thread was about the old versus new coaching staff at Rose Hill.

I just wish you guys would let this go, You got the coaches that you wanted, and you obviously thought that last years coaches were useless and thats fine I can live with that but the girls and the parents that were there know the truth about the whole situation. Once again good luck to the girls at Rose Hill and the boys since my son is still there.

I was an assistant coach for two years. One year under with Chuck Leadingham, and one with Joe Romer. I am not a teacher.

My question was to LRCW, not anyone else. It was a sincere question. Maybe I should have PM'd instead. Old Ball Coach feel free to PM if you want to talk with me. I have no desire to talk with you as I'm sure we would disagree on everything.
