I think Jtown has to be the favorite in the 7th region for now with Cosby, the Jacksons, Kennedy, and Reeves.

 

I would put Manual (with Kimbro back), Eastern (a lot of young talent), Ballard(great guards but lacking strong inside presence), Male( nice balance with Bell inside, Pfillischefske, and strong guard play), Trinity(Sewell and Little can play with anybody), Seneca (a lot of athletes) in the next group.

 

Waggener, StX (new coach), Fern Creek and CAL could surprise somebody on a give night but I doubt they are ready to put the three games together necessary to win the 7th region tourney.

 

It should be a fun year to watch!!

I think Kimbro and Jenkins both will return to Manual next year. I also think the Crimsons will win the region next season led by these two top players along with Samsel, Nikolic, and Harold Calhoun.

Kimbro is headed to a prep school up north (maybe in Deleware?). The prep school is supposed to cost him @ $40,000 per year.

Most major prep schools give athletic scholarships and some sort of need-based financial aid. His finanaces will be taken care of.

No way. I think he passed on the chance to go that route after leaving Manual. He loves going to J-town and playing for coach Morrow.
