Lawrence County wins the first game of the best-of-three series.

Bell had their chances but errors really cost them the game. Lone Sr. on the team Nelson pitched wonderfully in the loss in only giving up 1 run, rest came on errors.

Nice game by the Bulldogs. The big three of Cyrus, Hayes and Kingsmore struggles at the plate last night but the Bulldogs got offense from the other guys. Great win by LC as Nelson from Bell County really pitched a quality game. Nelson pitched 6 innings gave up 6 runs and only 1 was earned, he had 8 strikeouts and 2 walks on the night. Bell County committed too many errors in this one. Lewis Michael of the Lawrence really settled in after the first inning and pitched a very good game. No walks given up on the night by Michaels and he had 6 strikeouts. He gave up 3 runs but only 2 where earned. This was a very good game to watch from a fans view.
