I saw a Newport Central Catholic game when they had Pangallo, Kelly, and Grosser in the OF and that has to be the quickest group I've seen in years. Kelly IMO has the best arm in the 9th from right field!

It was posted this was the best in 35 years in this area. This takes it back to the early 70's. There were Camel outfields in the mid 80's that were flat out better. If you think the names of Gross, Williams, Falkner, Ellis, Johnson, White to name just a few take a back seat to the current group well, go right ahead and think that way. The above names represent those who went on to play at the next level and even were drafted.

Actually I watched the Camels twice this year, both times they lost and there were many errors and base running mistakes.

IMO... CCH has the best group of outfielders and the most athletic. These boys know how the game is ment to be played

Yes i was thinking Boone has one of the best group of outfielders but 2 of the 3 are underclassman and still have alot of learning to do.

How did that work out?

Check out one of their games and you will see that not only can they glove, and have good arms, I would say without a doubt that they are the quickest outfield that I have ever seen in NKY or Cincy and I have seen some of the best in Cinti over the last 35 years. They hit well but maybe a little behind Cov Cath although Studer does have 4 hrs.

 

Wouldn't that include the Junior Griffey led Moeller teams among many, many others? Better than those--Wow pretty bold statements?? Having seen both, NCC's outfield seemed significantly quicker than Campbells--Not saying necessarily better, but quicker.
