Original Rookie Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Around Florence, Union, or Richwood preferably. Any recommendations?
Original Rookie Posted April 26, 2008 Author Posted April 26, 2008 Please move to GD... haha sorry my bad.
Sting Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 I know there are alot of condos for sale right off the Mt. Zion road exit. I have two friends that have recently moved on and bought bigger houses that have put their's up for sale.
nees1212 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 I've heard the Mt. Zion ones aren't bad and are fairly reasonable. However, that was a few years back.
Original Rookie Posted April 26, 2008 Author Posted April 26, 2008 What are the names of those right off Mt. Zion?
Original Rookie Posted April 26, 2008 Author Posted April 26, 2008 What price range are you wanting to spend. Right now the most I could probably go is 125K. The more and more I think about it, it's probably best to just rent for a year or so while I save some money.
nees1212 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 What are the names of those right off Mt. Zion? Mt. Zion apartments.
Original Rookie Posted April 26, 2008 Author Posted April 26, 2008 Mt. Zion apartments. Thanks.
ColonelCrazy Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Mt. Zion Apartments probably aren't too bad. Pretty good location, too. Plantation Pointe has some very nice places, although those are probably more towards the expensive side. How many bedrooms are you looking for?

Plantation Pointe has some very nice places, although those are probably more towards the expensive side. How many bedrooms are you looking for? Either two or three BR's. Plantation Pointe is on my mind for sure. Everything I've read, or heard, about Mt Zion Apts is not good.
nees1212 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Either two or three BR's. Plantation Pointe is on my mind for sure. You living on your own, roommates, or significant other?
Original Rookie Posted April 26, 2008 Author Posted April 26, 2008 You living on your own, roommates, or significant other? Roomies.
nees1212 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Roomies. Not trying to pry or anything. When you said 2 or 3 bedrooms, my first thought was to get a house, because you'd be paying just as much for a mortgage as rent. However, since it's roomies, it's a different situation. If I had to do it all over again, I would bunk up in the parents' place for a year+ after school instead of buying a house to pad the savings a little more.
