The truth of the matter is, that a high school baseball game consists of seven innings, and until a change in the rules makes it a nine inning game, 6 runs in 7 innings will never be a 7.71 ERA. I never called you out on anything. You never once posted what the ERA was. You asked a question of Dan Tanna, and therefore I assumed you didn't know the answer. I tried to explain to you how an ERA was calculated. I gave the formula that professional baseball uses by mistake, and you jump all over me. After going back and reading my original post I can see how you may have taken my post the wrong way, but I assure you that my intention was good.

The bottom line is this: Reynolds pitched a complete game and did keep the Ashland hitters off balance for the most part. He had one rough innings that allowed 4 runs. Other than that, he had Ashland hitters guessing for most of the game.
