Other teams aren't thinking about trading one of their highest paid players in only the 2nd year of his contract which forces the signing bonus to be prorated and squeezed into 2 years- that is why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most other teams best players don't work for the circus. If they can get out of this w/ a pick in the first round and another pick and get rid of the sideshow do it.

If the Bengals are serious about keeping Chad and just letting him sit out...why on earth would they not take this deal and make it work? It's so frustrating as someone who likes the Bengals to see them shoot down a great offer like that.

 

Make it work. Period. With all the picks the Bengals already have and the addition of another first rounder from the Skins...they could make some deals and get what they wanted in the draft.

I love the offer too, but it would require cutting starters, which no team can afford.

I heard this wasn't a deal that was made through the Bengals organization. It was really made through Drew Rosenhouse (sp?). So basically what I'm saying is that Drew skipped over talking to the Bengals until him and the Redskins had conjured up some numbers.

 

I'd really love it if NFL teams said that they will not deal with Drew. Just like the Yankees did with A. Rod's agent.
