As of yesterday evening they had not interviewed all applicants . But it should be real soon. I still think Kidwell is the man.

Who have they interviewed?

They should be reaching a decision soon...it has been a month now. Kidwell should be the choice IMO, he is the most qualified, proven, and what other applicant knows the teams of the 16th region like the back of their hand like Coach Kidwell? A great hoops mind that would do well in Flatwoods.

My sources say that Russell is only interviewing two candidates. One of the names has Ironton ties (and no, it is not Zornes).

Seriously, it is kind of like UK and recruiting Chris Lofton.

You have a good one in your own backyard in Kidwell...don't know about his lateral quickness, but he can coach.

Get it done already.

Let me guess the one with ties to Ironton has a couple of players (his sons) in tow to aid him in possibly getting the Red Devil's job. I believe that he is one of the Barnes brothers who were standouts for the Tigers and if I'm not mistaken were scoring machines at KCC (Kentucky Christian College) now KCU (Kentucky Christian University). Kidwell I assume will be the other canidate. I hope the Devils make a choice soon as the kids deserve that at the very least as summer will soon be here and summer is were basketball players are made.

I think Kidwell will be the next head B-Ball man at Russell. Administration is just dragging their feet.
