April 8, 200818 yr Back in 1996 we were on a church mission trip to Boston (my first trip to Fenway, and I was the activity director but that is another story) and our Greyhound broke down in Cincy. We ended up spending about 5 hours in a Roy Rogers Restaurant somewhere near the bus terminal. Is that the one that is still operating? It was on the Ohio side of the river. No, the bus trerminal is downtown more or less. The RR is out on the east side of town. I have a feeling we've just boosted that location's sales by at least a factor of three. I think they owe us a burger!
April 8, 200818 yr The female employees wore those skirts or shorts with the vest and cowboy hats--Remember it well in the late 70's and early to mid-80's---
April 8, 200818 yr Unfortunately, there is only the one left locally........... located off #32 Eastgate. For those that remember, the decor is exactly the same, don't think they have done anything except cook food in there for the last twenty plus years! It is humble at best, but the food is terrific ! Privately owned/operated by two brothers but remember to bring cash, no credit accepted, no kidding! Trust me on this though, worth the drive as the food is terrific, Double R or Roast beef and HOT holster of fries..... great Christmas tradition to shop Eastgate and eat at Roys......we buy extra and microwave at home!

Do they still cook the hamburgers the way you want them? Rare, medium rare, meduim well, etc. Remember going there as a kid before a Reds game and didn't tell them how I wanted my burger and it was bloody rare. Always used to stop there before going to a Reds game
