Once again, not dogging Beechwood or denying it's success over the years and LAST year, BUT:

 

A lot of teams have talent develop over the course of 4 years, have a great season and fall off some, by their individual standards, even to the Tigers.

Beechwood will definitely have talent.

 

The thread is on RETURNING talent, and, once again, IMO, LCA has the most returning talent in Class A Kentucky Football.

Beechwood may stomp LCA enough to destroy their football program next year for all we know, but, right now, at this very second in history, I believe, IN MY OPINION, nothing more, nothing less, LCA edges out Beechwood in returning talent.

Trophy or not, last year was last year and ended with the last whistle of the season. Beechwood won and everyone else lost. That is a fact. Now they will lace them up again and everyone will be trying to get there again. LCA was very young and very good, so it stands to reason that they have the better RETURNING talent. Beechwood is very good. Danville is very good. They all have tradition and State Titles. Does it mean EVERY year they have the best or most returning talent? No. They return talent, there is no doubt, but LCA could very well have more.

I don't think that anyone on here is not giving the Tigers their due, just some other opinions.

I agree that Beechwood is the favorite untill someoe beats them but like I said, others are just giving their opinions as well.

 

There may be some that I am just not aware of and I certainly don't mean to slight anyone but an early call for the 08' State A Title imo would be LCA or Beechwood, with Hazard and Raceland definately in the mix to come out of the East, as for the Central and/or the Western districts. I fully admit that I don't have a lot of knowledge of a lot of the schools in those regions.

There could very well be some that I am not aware of or just not remembering that could challenge for the Title as well. Mayfield is one that I know is usually very good year in and year out.

Has it been determined how many of the "talented players" will be able to return with tuitions having to be paid now, this is not a smart comment, just curious about the REAL situation there.

Beechwood will be a contender, but I agree that LCA will be the top team and the favorite if cleared.

I'm sure that if LCA is cleared, the tuition situation will be taken care of.

I thought they were cleared, punished and it was pretty much back burnered.

I was just going from a previous post. I thought that the punishment was already done, also, for what it's worth.
