You could be right. But Middleton hasn't been guarded by the other teams best player like Stenzel had to all last year. He got good looks from a lot of the attention Darius and Setty garnered. I'm not taking anything away from this kid though, he's a really good player.

Frankly I don't remember who guarded Middleton in that game. I do know in the GRC games though he was guarded by the 3rd best defender and he still only had average numbers...

 

I'm sure he can if he has too, but it's going to be different for him to be THE man instead of having his buddies on his side like in years past.

Not too worry Middleton will be fine and Henderson did guard him in the finals . Middleton beat him several times one on one. Stenzel is a very, very good player and the matchup between these two next year will be most interesting. GRC and Mason should have qualities matchups as will several of the 10th regions teams.

He averaged a double-double last season and he's been in the weight room working on his own everyday since the season ended. He will be a force next year.

Middleton will rise to the challenge, Downing will most likely handle the task of guarding Stenzel next season and it should be a great battle. Stenzel will face constant pressure from the Royals and GRC better find someone else to step up besides Hatton or the results will be similiar to this year. Stenzel and Hatton are great offensive players, but need help. Out of curiosity who were the 2 best defenders in front of the 3rd that drew the assignment on Middleton?

I think you took that totally the wrong way. It was not meant as a shot towards anybody. I was saying that Mason had two STUDS, one an all star and the other a deadly 3 point shooter. They were both more of a priority to try an contain before Middleton. It's like pick your poison. No shots at anybody, I think you took my smiley the wrong way.
