I maybe lasted 45 minutes into my brother's wedding reception before I had to change out of that awful tux. I have no idea why, but I love wearing a tie everyday. Stuffy clothing has never bothered me. I am one of the younger people at the office... with the exception of the head hancho, I was the only other person that would wear a tie every single day. A few others have began dressing better, so to speak, since I have started.
March 25, 200818 yr Pretty much always been business casual at the jobs I have had, along with a "jeans" day like many have mentioned on here. I always found it funny when we had team meetings and people had to be told how to dress properly for work and what was/wasn't allowed. You would think common sense would take care of it, but apparently not many possess that talent. :lol: I don't know what I would do if I had to wear a tie everyday, let alone a full blown suit. Goodness. I guess you get used to it and it becomes no big deal. I just love jeans and casual stuff too much nowadays. I kind of like it. People think you are important. :lol: Add my blackberry clipped on the side of me and you would think I actually make some money. :lol:
March 25, 200818 yr I'm not much of a dress-up guy, and my work's not real picky about it. Khakis and a polo-type shirt are the norm for me, but it's usually with tennis shoes, and I'll occasionally slip on a T-shirt instead of the polo. But on days when I don't go in until well after lunch, it's jeans and T-shirts. It's jeans day at the office on Fridays as well, so I can usually get by with the bare minimum of dress-up, and that "suits" me just fine. March 25, 200818 yr Being a female teacher, I usually would wear pants, nice blouse or sweater and jacket. Always tried to mix in the "bling" either by my belts , shoes or jewelry. Never was a jeans type of girl...if I go casual, give me sweat pants and my BGP t-shirt.
