Russ was extremely impressive during the tournament. Very intelligent basketball player and liked how he could create off the dribble. He's got great length and can finish strong or shoot from unlimited range.

#33 has also taken some garbage on this board and elsewhere, but he was A WARRIOR tonight; often taking the widely acknowledged defensive player of the year (who is a delight to watch, by the way; he never stops working) to school several times tonight. Nice game and tournament, Russ.

 

I have also heard some of the negitives about this young man but did not see many of them this year. He played a heck of a game in the finals. Great job. I have heard alot about players being possible walk ons for UK out there. I would take Middleton hands down.

All of the positives out way the negatives with Russ. He is a good ball player and is only going to get better. Congrats to Russ on a great year.
